Are you a "NeoCon?" Take the quiz & find out

Behind the Christian Science Monitor's quiz, I earned the rating of "Realist."

Realist
RealistsÂ…
  • Are guided more by practical considerations than ideological vision
  • Believe US power is crucial to successful diplomacy - and vice versa
  • Don't want US policy options unduly limited by world opinion or ethical considerations
  • Believe strong alliances are important to US interests
  • Weigh the political costs of foreign action
  • Believe foreign intervention must be dictated by compelling national interest
Historical realist: President Dwight D. Eisenhower
Modern realist: Secretary of State Colin Powell
Powell & Ike? Not bad company to be in. How's about you? Where do you rank?

1 I never knew what a neo-con really was (there are about 5000 definitions out there). I just found out that I'm a neo-con. Now I know, and I wear that badge proudly. TV (Harry)

2 Funny, but what the quiz calls "neo-conservative," I call realist.

3 Strange that the only group that "Shares [sic] unwavering support for Israel" is the neo-con. Could it be that "neo-con" is a euphemism for JEW/Zionist?? Just curious.
