CNN's Chad Myers flips out on-air during hurricane coverage

CNN weather forecaster Chad Myers flipped out during their coverage hours before Hurricane Katrina made landfall.

Myers, visibly upset at being cut off by anchor Carol Costello, yelled, "Let me talk Carol!"

Costello almost jovially said, "Well Chad, what does that mean?"

Myers tossed his notes down in disgust and yelled, "Well, if you'd let me talk..."

Sounds like multiple folks were getting testy over at CNN.

The Political Teen has the video both in Quicktime and WMP.

1 Never seen anything quite like that before... Nice blog. BTW, this is [former] FReeper asphalt. I have been banned for unknown reasons. You can take me off of your b/c and j/d ping lists.

2 Looked and sounded just like a bickering married couple. I don't blame the guy though. She was rather rude in interupting him. Should have waited until he finished his weather news spot. He was probably going to explain the weather in more detail anyway. After all, that's his "big moment". All he does is report the weather. She is the anchor and can ask all of her questions afterwards if he didn't make things clear. Still, I guess his response was rather unprofessional. But I feel for the guy.

3 I must say ... Chad is ALWAYS passionate about his weather reports. Carol should know better!

4 Carole was wrong to interupt Chad, this was the Katrina storm, and it was his weather report, and her interruption's were unecessary, to say the least and her question very minor.
